Kinda dark but this is the kids making magic reindeer dust to sprinkle so the reindeer know where to land.





The kids sprinkling the magic reindeer dust all over the driveway so the reindeer have their magical spot to land. The kids just love throwing it everywhere. They had it all over themselves by the end of it.



Peeling carrots for the reindeer to eat. We don't only leave cookies for Santa but carrots for the reindeer. Jarae did all the peeling and Austin displayed them for the camera and handed them to Jarae when she needed another one. What a team!

The finished product. Jarae picked out 5 cookies for Santa I thought it was because she is turning 5 a week from today but when I asked her she advised me it was because Santa is fat.

Going outside to see if the carrots had been eaten. If you can't tell the curlers in Jarae's hair didn't last. Both my kids changed jammies.. I guess they were just too excited or something.

Aunt Morgan made Jarae a super cute apron for Jarae which is right up her alley and her wanting to help us cook!



Okay I knew Morgan was making mom one and slid in there that I wanted one too.... Hoping I would get one for my birthday or something.. well she surprised me with one for Christmas. I love it... Love it... Love it!!!

Well Austin decided he didn't want to take a nap today so around 5 o'clock he was a bit tired don't ya think? It was extremely funny to us to watch him twitch... He is such a cutie we just love ya Austin!

Well I bought a 2nd guitar for our PS3 Guitar Hero. The kids were playing one morning making some of the funniest faces I could only get one photo before they started smiling for the camera but I thought it was funny. :) Enjoy

Turkey Day

We went to Trav's Uncle Kens house for Thanksgiving before coming home and having my family over. Well while at Uncle Kens the kids were tree climbing jumping fools. If this is any indication as to the things Austin will do as he gets older he will be jumping from the roof of the house soon. ha. He is sucha a boy last night he peeled a scab off his foot and it started to bleed a little and comes up to me and says mommy wanna see.. Crawls up on the couch and says gross huh mommy.. :) Jarae was like yeah Austin that's gross you are not supposed to do that. This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my family all of them and our health.

Beatle Mania

I was sceptical of going to Beatle Mania. I didn't think it would be super fun.. But it was a super blast. I would recommend it to anyone. I had a great time.

Fishing with Dad

Everytime Austin would reel in a fish he would say, "Come on baby, come on." I guess my nephew Kasen says this phrase so Austin picked it up.. Quite commical that's for sure.





Today Travis left work early and took Jarae and Austin out on the boat for some daddy time and fishing. Brave man he is as Austin is 2 and has no fear of the water or anything. As you can see both the kids caught a fish they had a blast and came home tuckered out. Travis is an amazing dad and so wonderful with the kids. He takes time out of his busy day and life to do special things with the kids they just love it and are so lucky to have such an awesome dad. Love you babe!!

Locks of Love

Well today I decided to chop my long maine I have been growing since Jarae was a baby and donate it to Locks of Love. Thank you to my awesome friend Cassie for the gorgeous cut!!! I love it. It feels very weird to not have hair on my neck but it's only hair and it is going to a wonderful cause. Please excuse the after pic it was taken with my phone and I have no make-up on.. :) I will post a better pic once I get one.

Happy Halloween

Batman and snow white. Jarae's dress was too big poor girl so skinny and I bought it at Target in the dress up clothes.. ha so one size fits most... :) We went over to Mandi and Jakes to trick or treat. Both the kids buckets filled quickly and they had a blast trick or treating with their friends. When Mandi post some pics on her blog I will have to steal a few and add them. It was a lot of fun.

This weekend we went to Jake and Mandi's Halloween Party. It was a lot of fun. Travis actually dressed up! I went as the sexy female version of Robyn Hood. I won best costume for females and Mandi's husband won for the men. He came as a gladiator.

I Can Read!!!

In the last few weeks Jarae has been increasing words she can read. She is reading most 2 & 3 letter words and some 4 letter words. I have been trying to figure out how to shrink my video's to put on blogger so this video is a little old but here it is anyway. We are so proud of her and the accomplishments she has made in her reading. We owe hug thank you's to Mrs. Spier (her preshool teacher) who has engaged Jarae leaps and bounds in education. Mrs. Spier is an awesome teacher Austin can't wait to go next year. Grandma Fish for working with Jarae on the days she does not have preschool and Grandma Sue without her Preschool would not be possible. Jarae is so proud of herself for being able to read and is encouraged often by Mrs. Spier to read for her classmates. Jarae loves being able to read to her fellow classmates so it encourages her to read even more.

Camping pics of the kids

We went camping over the past weekend it rained on us and was too cold so we left early but here a couple of personal photo's I took of the kids. We went camping with the Ramsey's they stayed and weathered the rain and cold weather. Trav's heater wasn't working in the 6500 ft altitude it kept shutting off so our tent kept getting cold and just before we left Austin kept wanting me to hold him and said he was cold and then would tell me. 'go hom mommy' I felt so bad I told Travis we should go.

My kids, My life....

Another perk to working for the ortho office is I have every Friday off. I am very thankful for this because I get to spend more time with my kids. I don't get home early during the week so it makes it nice to wake up and be with them one whole extra day. They are a handful sometimes and fight as good as the next brother-sister but they all in all worry so much about each other and love each other so much I am blessed to have such wonderful kids.

Brace Face!!!

Well working for an orthodontics office has it's advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantage you see a lot of perfect teeth and realize how jacked up yours are. Advantage- you can get braces and be treated without making an apt. ha. Dr A has been itching to put braces on my 'jacked up' teeth as he calls them since day 1. So I finally let him. Tomorrow I will get my lovely Roof Pallet Expander so I will sound like I just had my jaw wired shut to expand my pallet for my teeth to move in so they will be pretty. We are kinda known as the non-teeth pulling orthodontist. Not always but we do Pallet Expanders vs pulling teeth a lot of the time. Who know they may put it in tomorrow and I may say forget it take it back out. I already am having a hard time with the excessive spit that is forming in my mouth! But everyone loves how big and pretty my teeth are so they keep telling me I will have a nice big pretty smile and all this will be worth it in the end. I sure hope so!

Trav does. He used to eat Susie Q pies for breakfast. And still if I buy them I will find wrappers in the trash and on the counter early in the morning. Ugh..

Long Story. I met him when he was dating his ex wife and I was dating my ex fiancée. Needless to say we both were dumped by the other parties and stayed friends. Here we are 10 years later.

We hung out as friends but I would say I initiated that.

21. Who kissed who first?
Trav did. I was leaving to see my sister and we were just friends and we went to lunch and he kissed me and told me to think about us on my trip. I was floored!

22. Who proposed?
Trav did at the kitchen sink.. How romantic guess I fooled him into thinking I was going to be a good house wife.. Ha! Those who have seen my house know otherwise!

23. His best features?
I love his eyes. They are so sweet looking and reflect the sweet person that he is. His sense of humor. He is so very funny and has a great smile when he laughs.

24. What's his best quality?
He is the best dad in the world to our 2 young kids. He takes the fishing, swimming, plays with them outside in this gosh awful 110 degree weather. They just beam when they see him. It lights my eyes up to see the great relationship they have.

ROOOOAAAARRRR!

Austin loves the Imaginext toys especially the dinosaurs. We went to Target today to spend his gift card from Papa Quader. They had this display of the Imaginext Mega Dinosaur. We seriously had to stand there for 10 minutes while he and Jarae pushed the button to make it go over and over and over. We started out a few rows down and some other kids had pressed the button.. Austin's ears perked his eyes widdened, and he said to me.. mommy. whad dat? I said I don't know we will have to go see. His face lit up like the dinosaur when he saw it as he said... 'whooooa mommy big ninasaur!' So I tried to take a pic with my phone sorry it's not the best but you kinda get the idea how obsessed he was with it.

Jarae is attending Dawn's Primary Learning Preschool. She is part of the 4 year old class and she just loves Mrs. Spier. She has learned so much from Mrs. Spier I can't thank her enought for the education she is giving Jarae. This is a picture of Jarae from picture day at school this week. I can't beleive how big my little princess has gotten. She is such a smart girl and such a joy to our lives. Isn't she just gorgeous!

TWO!!!!!!

From my little baby boy



To my litte Austin man!




Austin turned 2 on September 4th. This is him trying to hold up two fingers. He couldn't do it on one hand so we taught him to hold his two 1st fingers up... I can't beleive that my little boy is 2 already. Man time flies too fast! Seems like just a little bit ago we were bringing him home from the hospital. Austin is such a character and has such a personality he is a joy to our life. He is so stubborn and yet so sweet. Such a temper and yet so loving. He talks very well for 2 so we can understand him. He loves to be outside, fishing and playing. Imaginext toys, planes, trains (Thomas), and automobiles oh and motorcycles (cycles as he calls them). Balls, bugs, and animals. He is a boy thru and thru.
