Another name for Da Bra

So of course my kids love to say things when they see me getting dressed on those rare occassions. So just yesterday I was getting ready and Jarae picked up one of my bras held it up and said 'mommy it's a boobie cover.' I responded 'well that is one thing you can call it, but honey it's called a bra.' Travis almost split a gut over Jarae's little comment and quick adult rational response I gave back as he called it.

Grease Monkey!

My little Austin. He loves to help daddy take things apart and put things back together. So when Trav put my running boards back on the pathfinder there was Austin eager to help and getting just as dirty and greasy as daddy.

Bad Patient :)

Well anyone who has seen me since my braces have been put on, or especially the last couple of months hav seen my enormous lips!! Red, inflamed, dry, cracked and very unattractive. Well since I work for an orthodontist, me and the people I work with have been trying to figure out why my lips are reacting this way. Rubberbands to non latex etc. Well after about 2 months of this and not being able to kiss my kids or my husband let alone eat without having fire lips I decided my teeth were better than they were and so after 8 months of wearing, OFF came my braces. :) My teeth look great to most people who don't spend their whole day looking at teeth. So I have to say I am pretty pleased with the progress and looking forward to my lips returning to normal size. I must say that I had them taken off in the morning and by nightfall they were already 70% better. The doctors have never seen anything like it. Most of the girls think I was having an allergic reaction only in my mouth to the stainless steal. Whatever it was I am one of kind still :)

Gonna Call you on the Telephone Papa and give you a ring......

The kids wanted to call Papa Quader since they hadn't seen or heard from him in a while. Austin got way into talking to Papa Quader as you can tell. He tells him about his race cars, say hello to them, his Elmo shirt he is wearing and asks about fishing and proceeds to tell Papa Quader about how he reels in his fish and says "Come on Baby" which is exactly what Austin says when he is reeling in a fish. And proceeds to tell Papa Quader that he caught a really big fish. This snap shot of his conversation is a glimps at the personality of Austin. We just love this little guy to pieces!

I caught one!!

On Saturday Travis and his friend John went fishing and Trav decided to take Jarae along for the day. Jarae was a trooper didn't complain once and had a great time. Daddy's heart swelled with pride over Jarae having the interest in fishing and having a great time. He is such a good dad and takes so much time with the kids in teaching them things. I am so lucky to have my wonderful little family.

Look at that face!! Jarae will tell you she loves to go fast!!! She feels like such a big girl being able to drive the boat. Brave John took all these pictures and held on while Travis let Jarae drive. Anyone that knows John knows he doesn't like other people to drive.. So I can imagine a 5 year old behind the wheel had him a bit nervous. :)

More Road to Hana

A tiny cave on black beach that runs to the ocean. It was really cool inside. Mandi has pics from inside I have to gets these from her.



Me sitting on the black beach. The sand is thicker it was weird. Mandi and I collected some sand from the black beach but were later told it was bad luck to take it home with us. The day before we left was when the plane crashed into the Hudson River so we decided to leave the sand in Maui. :)

The ocean crashing up on black beach I love watching the ocean do that. The way the ocean moves onto the beach and the rocks is very interesting and powerful.

Road to Hana

A tree on the road to Hana. Made a nice picture we thought.



One of the little waterfalls on the road to Hana. The road to hana has approximately 600 curves and 54 bridges!!! We road in the Mustang convertable that America and Liliana rented. We were on a time crunch so we didn't get to enjoy all of the road to hana but what we saw was beautiful



Black Beach, The rocks the sand it is all black!!! Isn't that crazy. Aparently a few more turns and curves down the road there is Red Beach but we didn't have time to go there too.

One Tree!!! Yes One Tree

This one tree makes up an entire little park, I forgot what it is called but it is amazing!!! It just growns branches and re-roots itself into the ground and grows another tree!!! It is so cool. Sorry there is no climbing on the tree.
