NERD!!!

Today we had NERD day at work in honor of back to school. So here is my NERD outfit... Everyone said I was the best nerd in the office. Well me and Dr. G. I wish I had a pic of his outfit it was great too. I was going for Sarah Jessica Parker in Square Pegs and America Ferrera of Ugly Betty. Then Dr. A. had us all go out to lunch.. I swear people were looking at me like I was an actual ugly nerd it was so embarassing. Even patients coming into the office were looking at me strange like Ugh this girl is a NERD! Guess I hit the mark. It was funny.

I almost forgot the best part. I had tape in the middle of my glasses at work and as I was checking out (meaning having him review) a patient with Dr. A. he asked her why she didn't wear her nerd costume she was confussed and he let her in on the fact that it was nerd day. He then said do you think she (meaning me) looks like this all the time? The patient replied back with, "well I wasn't sure, I mean when I saw her glasses I thought maybe they were broke and you don't pay her enough so she can get them fixed." BAM! I wanted to fall over laughing.. :) It was great!

Camping

We went camping last weekend and my camera died. I didn't charge it before we left and I didn't realize how low it was so this is the only picture I was able to take. The kids had a blast and both whinned and cried when we left. Jarae was a quad riding queen! She loved going round and round with Dalton and Summer. Austin just loved being dirty! And thankfully the No Burn was lifted so we were able to have a camp fire and make smores.

Wendi Lee Workshop

Hi Everyone Wendi Lee is a fabulous photographer that I met through my sister Morgan. She is a wonderful mother of 2 adorable boys and she is a professional photographer. She is holding a special workshop for those of us who want to "shoot out kids and get away with it" AKA meaning shoot great pictures of them with our own camera. Regan Maree Turley

My beautiful baby sister Morgan and her hubby Chris had a beautiful baby girl today Reagan. She was 7lbs 3oz. Morgan is doing well for having a c-section. Morphine is good stuff. :) Morgan looked just beautiful for just having a baby.. Much better than I ever did after mine were born... Love you Morgan.. Welcome Reagan so excited you are here!

Big Sister Jarae

Well Jarae had a tiny accident in her booster seat and luckily I had an extra carseat in my car from driving a gf little girl around with me. We were on our way to the store 10 miles from the cabin to buy worms so Jarae, Papa and Trav could go fishing the next day. On their way back from fishing they came upone 3 girls that had rolled one of their quads. A 5 year old and 10-12 year old were on the one quad that rolled. The 5 year old had a gash in her forehead and the 10-12 year old flipped on the bike and by the time they drove the girls to their camp the poor girl couldn't even hardly get out of the car. I hope they were okay. Jarae was a super trooper when the girls got in the truck to be driven back to camp.

The second pic is Jarae trying to lift Austin up to touch the leaves on the tree. So far away but she kept saying to Austin.. You almost got it buddy.. :) She is a great big sister and a super trooper!

Poor Pine Tree...

Well the kids decided to pick on this poor baby Jack pine... Trav told me to let them as it was a tree his dad didn't want. So here they are pulling the needles off.

Quad Ridding Jarae!

Jarae kept telling me ridding her quad was so so so so so so much fun... And asked if I would go with her and take Austin on Papa's quad for a long long ride. Trav did most of the riding with the kids but momma got out a few times with them..

Quad ridding Austin

So this past weekend we went to PaPa Quader's cabin to spend the weekend with Papa Quader. The kids rode their quads and yes that is a pink barbie quad Austin is riding as it is Jarae's old one... Jarae snapped the adorable photo of Austin on her big girl quad with daddy. Austin can't wait to ride the big boy quad by himself...

Okay so Austin wanted Travis' hat and straw so I had to take a picture of him.. He gave it all back to Travis and posed for big CHEEZ for me afterwards. This is on the porch of Papa Quaders cabin.

Austin's New pout face

Oh I think his new pout face is too darn cute! We were on our way to the store that is about 10 miles from the cabin not sure why he was pouting now but look at how cute that face is!!

Pampered... Mommy and me..

I took Jarae for her 1st pedicure. The lady was so nice she put a flower on every toe and proceded on to paint and put flowers on her fingernails to. Jarae was so patient and sat still the entire process. The ladies kept complimenting her on what a good girl she was being and how cute she is. Jarae felt so special and that was the whole point. I was so glad I could spend a little time just Jarae and I. We talked about her friends and what we did that day. Jarae is my little sweet pea.. I enjoy her so much and she is so loving and sweet. She is a huge helper and loves to do things for Austin she is going to be a great mom some day.... My big feet are in there just to show you what I had done.. :)

Round we go!

Makutu's Island

Jarae's friend Abby turned 3 and had her b-day party at Makutu's Island. Jarae spent most of her time on the zip line.. The poor girls that were working the line had to pick Jarae up to put her on the handle bars and often times she was one of the only kids on the zip line.. Those girls got their workout!
